Who writes How Influencers Make Money?
The How Influencers Make Money editorial team writes the site, and every page is credited to the team. That covers the articles, these site pages, and the entries in the Creator Pay Index.
Where do our facts come from?
Payout rules, revenue shares, thresholds, and fees come from each platform's own help center, terms, and pricing page. Statistics come from the original report. We do not claim hands-on testing, so pages describe what a platform publishes about its programs.
Every page lists its sources and the date its facts were last verified. Verified means a person or tool on our team checked the figure against the platform's own published terms or the original report on that date. If we cannot confirm a number, we leave it out. We never invent statistics, quotes, test results, or examples of named creators' earnings.
When a page cites a statistic from outside the platforms, such as a survey of sponsorship rates, the sentence names who measured it and when. Third-party estimates are labeled as estimates and never go in the Creator Pay Index. The methodology explains how the index works.
Do we use AI tools?
Drafts may be prepared with help from AI tools. We check every price, fee, and rule against the platform's own pages before publishing.
Can platforms influence what we write?
No platform can pay for placement or for changes to what we write about it. The site is independent and unsponsored. It has no ads, sponsors, or affiliate links, and no company paid for, reviewed, or approved any of the research. The disclosure explains how the site is funded.
Platforms can send us changes to their terms the same way readers do, with a link to the official page. We check the change against the platform's published pages before we update anything.
What do the dates on a page mean?
The date on a page is the day we last checked its facts against the platform's own pages or the original report. We do not backdate pages.
Platforms change payout terms and prices without notice. An older date is a reason to check the platform's own page before you rely on a figure.
How do we handle corrections?
Email hello@howinfluencersmakemoney.com with the page, what is wrong, and a link to the platform's official page that shows the right figure. When we fix an error, we date the fix on the page, so you can see when it changed.
