Affiliate disclosure
Is anything on this site sponsored?
No. Nothing on How Influencers Make Money is sponsored. There are no ads, no paid placements, no sponsored posts, and no affiliate links. No platform, brand, agency, or advertiser paid for, commissioned, reviewed, or approved any research or any page.
Links to YouTube, TikTok, Patreon, Substack, and every other platform go to their official pages and earn us nothing.
Who owns and pays for the site?
How Influencers Make Money is independent. It is not owned by, affiliated with, or paid by any platform or company it writes about. Its publisher pays for the research, the writing, and the hosting.
Because no company pays us, no company has a say in what we publish, how we describe a platform, or what the Creator Pay Index shows.
How is what we publish verified?
Every payout rule, revenue share, and fee is verified against the platform's own help center, terms, or pricing page, and every statistic against the original report. Each page shows the date its facts were checked. The methodology and the editorial policy explain how.
Can a platform pay to be featured or to change what we say?
No. No platform can pay for placement or for changes to what we write about it. Platforms can send corrections like any reader, with a link to their official page, and we check them against the platform's published pages the same way.
What if this ever changes?
If the site ever adds affiliate links, advertising, or sponsorship, this page will say so before the change goes live, and every affected link or post will be labeled where it appears.
